The 2024 US election cycle is coming to a major inflection point as election day nears on November 5th. Emotions will be running high for most of us. Join Interhelp for an hour of sharing in community and being together to resource ourselves for the day(s) ahead.

In these difficult times, it can feel like grief is permeating every aspect of life. Join Janna Diamond and McKenzie Wren to explore and express personal and collective grief through embodied art practices. With opportunities for movement, sound, reflection and art making, we will connect with where grief lives in our bodies, explore different ways to be in relationship to grief, and cultivate creativity for healing and collective transformation. 

Reimagine is producing a special "Gathering of Grief," our landmark 100th virtual candlelight vigil, co-hosted with a number of other leading organizations dedicated to helping people process loss and grief. If you've not been to a Reimagine vigil, this is the one. This virtual event, symbolizing our unified commitment to healthy healing and love, redefines 'giving' by offering a shared space for you and your community to mourn and process amidst mounting global trauma.

Have you ever witnessed microaggressions while facilitating and not known what to do, or wished you had done something different?

Join Aravinda Ananda and Janna Diamond for this 6 hour workshop, exploring approaches to addressing microaggressions. This is geared specifically to Work That Reconnects facilitators or people in the Work That Reconnects community who would like to explore and practice different approaches to being an active bystander. We will work with examples that have happened in Work That Reconnects workshops as a way to build capacity and skill for the next time microaggressions happen.

Janna will be speaking on a panel to be held virtually.

GIPL is partnering with Georgia Public Broadcasting and Compassionate Atlanta to hold a two part series about climate change and what we can do. Part one will be held on January 11 as a showing of the film Planet Prescription and talking about air pollution and public health. Part two will be on January 18th from 7-8:30pm on Ecological Grief and how we can move from a grief and despair to a place of hope.

The Shmita year offers us a unique opportunity to practice skills of slowing down to navigate a changing world. One of the most potent moments of the year for reflection is the winter solstice, the turning from the deepest dark to the return of light.

CBH has invited Janna Diamond to bring us a rich offering for this moment of awakening and reckoning with our relationship to the Earth.

Together, we’ll explore dynamic and experiential ways to meet ourselves during challenging times. We will open to new pathways of moving and being in our lives, with one another, and on this precarious planet we call home. This is an opportunity to tune into the places within us that are influenced by the greater ecosystem and in relationship with all life.

Janna will be leading a breakout room process and integration session as part of this event.

After COP26, let’s take stock: what happened in Glasgow, where does that leave us, and where do we go from here? Hazon CEO Jakir Manela will be in dialogue with Elders, Ruth Messinger and Rabbi Arthur Waskow, regarding these essential questions and challenges at a crucial crossroads for our movement.

Then we’ll have time for breakout rooms – with plenty of topics – options to choose from, lead by a cadre of amazing Jewish environmental leaders – to give everyone a chance to process & discuss in more intimate, smaller groups.

Janna will join the Our Climate Resilience Advisory team to provide a safe space where young climate activists (ages 14-24) can confidently share their climate anxiety and/or trauma and learn about healthy ways to be with it.

Janna is leading a session at the New York State Association of Conservation Commissions Conference on the Environment 2021.
