Janna Diamond, ACCEP
I am a somatic therapy practitioner and consciousness teacher supporting sensitive humans adapt and evolve in a sea of change.
I’m devoted to personal and collective healing rooted in deep and embodied listening.
I stand for presence, trust, and finding safety within ourselves as a means of bringing about social, relational and cultural transformation.

My intention is to offer a grounded, heart-centered container for you to build resilience in days that ask for it most.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in radical care, warmth and authenticity. I weave cognitive, relational, somatic, and dynamic tools to provide supportive guidance in your unfolding process of expanding self-awareness and self-expression.
“Working with Janna is a transformational experience. From our first session, I felt a sense of trust and comfort, which allowed me to explore new ways of experiencing myself.”
I work from an embodied, ecological, cultural, and collective lens and specialize in earth grief and climate-aware therapy, supporting people to engage with the complexity of a changing world.
My practice integrates a rigorous training in body psychotherapy through the Institute of Core Energetics with nervous system education for trauma healing in my studies as an Advanced student of Somatic Experiencing™. My background includes over a decade as a community organizer in movements for liberation, and within me lives a composite of teachers I’ve learned and studied with to inform my process of witnessing and guiding.
I serve in the role of Georgia State Coordinator for the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America (CPA-NA), helping to address the mental health dimensions of the climate and ecological crisis in the southeast region. I’m a member of the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy (USABP), on the Steering Committee for the Core Energetics Core Connect Alumni Network, and a member of the Interhelp Network Board of Directors, an organization committed to the creation of inclusive, liberatory, and transformative group experiences evolving from the Work That Reconnects.
Originally from Southern California, and after nearly 20 years in New York City, I relocated outside of Atlanta, in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, to be closer to family and the land. I look forward to meeting you virtually online or in person at my office in Atlanta, GA.
