Janna Diamond, CCEP

Janna is a somatic therapist, intuitive healer, and activist weaving the wisdom of the body, earth and spirit to guide personal and collective transformation. Janna is a Certified Core Energetics Practitioner whose work is further influenced by Ecopsychology, Joanna Macy’s the Work that Reconnects, trauma-informed embodiment practices, her years as a professional dancer and later, as a grassroots community organizer.

Janna works with individuals and groups on the beauty and complexity of the human condition. This endeavor is rooted in the awareness that our individual work profoundly affects the whole, that no one heals alone, and that cultural change begins with the self.

Janna sees clients for many reasons including burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, physical pain and illness, loss and bereavement, and explorations of gender identity and sexuality. Clients are met with an integrated, anti-oppression approach. Janna specializes in ecological grief and working with people grappling with the future of life on earth—the inklings of “climate trauma” as it is beginning to be called. Her research looks at ways that climate change affects how we inhabit our bodies, and thus, our lives.

Janna is a member of the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy (USABP). Learn more about ways to work together and reach out for a consultation.
