Janna is a somatic practitioner, intuitive healer, and activist weaving the wisdom of the body, earth and spirit to guide personal and collective transformation. Her approach is informed by holistic modalities and teachings including Core Energetics, Ecopsychology, and trauma-informed embodiment practices.
Janna facilitates groups on the beauty and complexity of the human condition. This endeavor is rooted in the awareness that our individual work profoundly affects the whole, that no one heals alone, and that cultural change begins with the self.
Janna sees clients for many reasons including burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, physical pain and illness, loss and bereavement, explorations of gender identity, and sexuality. Clients are met with an integrated, anti-oppression approach. Janna specializes in ecological grief and working with people grappling with the future of life on earth—the inklings of “climate trauma” as it is beginning to be called. Her research looks at ways that climate change affects how we inhabit our bodies, and thus, our lives.
